FACILITAS X CELERIES 

Celeries in your Cities and Facilitas have decided to work together and create a fun event to educate the students of the College Communautaire de Villeneuve D'ascq on gardening their own vegetables.

We informed them and discussed environmental issues as well as the solutions for these issues which are efficient even on the individual level. 

​

We also presented them the advantages and many benefits of growing your own vegetables at home prior to starting the plantation workshop and the art workshop.

​

The plantation workshop consisted of going through the steps of planting vegetables in a pot where students either in groups of two or individually were to get a pot containing their work to take home. 

The students had the choice to pick their seeds and plant everything themselves. 

​

The art workshop consisted of creating posters on the topics discussed and we have received some great work from the students. 

​

CELERIES and FACILITAS are both grateful for the opportunity to work with and educate these children; it was a successful event and we hope to return to the College Communautaire de Villeneuve D'ascq to check on the progress of the vegetables.
